Glengesh PassGlengesh PassGlengesh Pass. Glengesh (Gleann geis, Glen of the Swans) is one of two glaciated valleys that sculpture the northern edge of the Banagh peninsula. The glen carries the road between Ardara and Carrick to a height of 270m/900ft over Glengesh Pass via a couple of hairpin bends. Glengesh Pass is a high pass with an elevated window on Loughros Beg Bay, exquisitely framed between the steep-sided Glengesh and Mulmosog mountains.
